The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association 2nd floor renovation project was substantially completed in time for Tourism Day on March 14, 2016, allowing the large crowds of industry and legislative representatives through the new renovated FRLA offices. The project team coordinated several late changes by the owner, including a new stained-glass window and associated light recessed into the wall at the front entrance. Culpepper also installed new entry doors and replaced windows at the new balcony extension.
All work was performed with the building fully occupied. To accommodate the Owner and be good city neighbors, we scheduled the final scope of work to be completed during the summer after the legislative session ended and the pedestrian traffic had slowed. Culpepper was happy to work with the Owner and to create as little disruption to their normal business operations as possible.
