The FSU Academic Center and University Center makeup one of the premier athletic facilities in the nation: The Doak Campbell Stadium and Bobby Bowden Field. Since Culpepper’s completion of this project it has become a focal point of the Florida State University Campus.
The design of the facility is unique, although it is most well-known for its athletic uses, it also houses academic, hospitality and administrative spaces that are used year-round. Specifically, you will find classrooms, lecture halls, multi-purpose space, food courts, retail shops, offices and student support. Additional non-related amenities include a media center, locker rooms, training facilities, social dining club, commercial kitchen and film school space. The project also includes significant improvements to infrastructure and parking.
Culpepper was proud to be a part creating a facility that brings such a wide variety of people together. Culpepper thanks Florida State University for allowing us to be a part of a project as significant as the Academic and University Center.
