The Village at Greer is a new, two-story assisted living facility in Greer, South Carolina built for Thrive Senior Living. Final construction of the building ended in December of 2015. Throughout construction, a few of our employees had the honor of meeting eager residents while they admired their new home. The Thrive Assisted Living and Memory Care structure has brick veneer and Hardie siding exterior, fiber glass shingle roofing, and single hung windows. Residents’ units overlook the spacious, green front lawn or garden walkways.
Designed by Thompson, Hancock, Witte, & Associates, Inc., the resort-style senior living facility consists of 89 units, including a wing of memory care residents. Each private suite contains a kitchenette, walk-in-closet, and large bathroom featuring a barrier-free shower. Residents and visitors are encouraged to lead connected, active, and purposeful lives through the assistance of the Director of Excitement and key building amenities including an outdoor garden, art room, exercise room, movie theatre, dining hall, and much more. The design was carefully thought out for this project in order give residence a new home they would happy to live in. The finishes within the space create a warm and inviting atmosphere that help residence feel at home.
